Day 2 Thursday: We are here!

We arrived in Tel Aviv right on time after a nice flight from London. Following getting through Border control and collecting our luggage, we entered the welcome hall where Nir was waiting.  He and our driver David loaded our luggage and we headed for our hotel.  Tomorrow will be a light day to get over jet lag, focusing mainly on Israel becoming a nation again and checking out a street market that only occurs on Fridays.  Here are a few pictures from our trip over and a post dinner walk along the promenade of Tel Aviv and views of Tel Aviv from our hotel roof.
